Optigel® gellants can generally be used where stabilization of an aqueous system is required. Functions of Optigel® include thickening, gelling, inhibition of settlement and of sagging.

Laponite® XL21 - A New Product in the Laponite® Range Laponite® XL21 is a layered silicate manufactured from naturally occurring mineral salts. It has been specially developed to impart a shear sensitive, thixotropic structure in personal care products formulated at “skin-friendly” pH 5.5. Laponite® products will improve stability and develop a light, non-sticky texture in a wide range of skin care emulsions, creams and skin wash formulations.
